How do we discern the deeper purposes that impel us to embark on a journey? What is the right direction? To what extent is it possible to correct the course?
Based on these questions, I made several drawings using dental anesthesia as a paint thinner on different types of soils. With the pigmentation values obtained, I drew paths and trails that do not identify any particular site; routes that get lost in the horizon without defining coordinates to follow. This “anesthetized land” silently invites us to leave immobility, to explore the unknown and to assume uncertainty as an opportunity for change and renewal. “Sobre la marcha” emphasizes the way in which we face this path, whether physical or spiritual, which can reveal other dimensions of reality.
