Egyptian Book of the Dead and Bardo Thodol (Tibetan Book of the Dead).
The books were edited by eliminating all the letters from "O" to "Z", preserving the empty spaces in each word. These are precisely the missing letters in the incomplete alphabet created in the cemetery. The Egyptian Book of the Dead and the Bardo Thodol have gone down in history as fundamental texts exploring experiences after death. Their purpose is to provide the deceased with a set of instructions for reaching the afterlife or, in the Tibetan case, liberation. The removal of certain letters deactivates the "magical functionality" of the text, generating new word associations within the text. Thus, the work transforms books conceived to confront the odysseys of death into works that invite the reader to creative act, filling the empty spaces according to their own life experiences.
